What is the point of power if it is not exercised? Kami who follow the path of the Ayakashi revel in the power their realm has granted them, leading to swollen and might-infused forms. Capable of consuming unfathomable amounts of food and drink, especially drink, and wading into combat with no regard for the blades of their foes, Kami are equally likely to engage in either. Slow and ponderous, their powerful bodies can shrug off the blows of their foes as they assert their dominance of the field, overwhelming their enemies with crushing ease.
How they Play:
Steadfast and highly resilient, the Kami Ayakashi – Resistance (Chi) – is the premier Yoroni Regiment for capturing a point on the battlefield and keeping it no matter what. Lore:As time wore on and the Hundred Kingdoms prospered, the old fashioned feudal military service was slowly abandoned. The sergeants were tied to their land and the growing military needs of the empire could no longer be met by men who could not travel or establish long term garrisons, because they needed to tend to their fields. Scutage, payment to one’s lord in lieu of military service, became a norm and professional soldiers who fought for coin puickly emerged to fill the void. The old, landed gentry sought to differentiate themselves from these new arrivals and coined the term men-at-arms. Freed from the need to work and protect their land, Men-at-Arms were able to focus exclusively on their martial pursuits, allowing them to march on extended campaigns and travel in search of employment, ensuring that sufficient trained men were available to all commanders with the coin to spend in securing their services. While ranging from ragtag mercenary companies to the well trained and drilled household forces of the major noble houses, constant warfare weeds out the incompetent and duplicitous, making the men-at-arms the backbone of the Hundred Kingdoms war machine. How they Play:While ranging from ragtag mercenary companies to the well trained and drilled household forces of the major noble houses, constant warfare weeds out the incompetent and duplicitous, making the men-at-arms the backbone of the Hundred Kingdoms war machine. Readily available and reliable the Men-at-Arms act as your army's main battle line - while the more mobile or hard hitting parts of a 100K force encircle and outmaneuver the opponent.

Lore:
Unlike the more docile Minotaurs or cunning Satyroi, the Centaurs were simply too primitive to integrate effectively into human society. The vast majority found their roles nonetheless as Prodromoi, scouts and border patrol forces that operated in regimented tribal structure bolstering the Legions with formidable vanguard and skirmish forces. A select few, the most ardent and pious among them, would be selected for further training, becoming an elite unit of messengers for the Pantheon: the Kyrikes, or Heralds, who could be trusted to deliver their gods’ messages even in the raging heart of a battlefield. How they Play:
The Kerykes add an important ranged element to the Old Dominion's forces. Although possessing average volley characteristics, they more than make up for it with their ability to ignore intervening terrain when performing ranged shots and even causing additional damage upon contact with the target.

Lore:
All who serve the Sorcerer Kings seek to earn their praise and favor. Those who succeed in doing this are often granted power, knowledge and wealth beyond their wildest dreams. However most of those who please Hormus are instead granted one of his countless stone elephants as a means of conveyance and mark of their status, a mark whose perceived value diminishes as it is awarded again and again and again… However, none of those who have had their life saved by these enduring stone brutes fail to see their value.

There are 4 Dhanur Disciples that are provided with the Mahut, along with an alternate head for you to customize. If you add the "Favored of Hormus" Mahut rider, she will replace the Disciples in play and the Manut will serve as her base.
Lore:
Among the countless deaths that occurred during the Sorcerer King's evacuation, the death of the last elephant could perhaps have gone unnoticed had it not been Hormus’ own loyal steed who died in defense of his master. Since then the grief-stricken Sorcerer King has crafted and animated hundreds, if not thousands, of faithful stone replicas of his beloved steed. Each more grandiose than the last, they have all, thus far, disappointed him. Nevertheless he has gifted hundreds of them to his faithful subjects so that they might enjoy their protection like he once did. These ponderous stone constructs have been the bane of countless foes since, their brutal power a testament to the craft and might of the Sorcerer Kings. How they Play:Well-armored and supported by skilled Dhanurveda Archers, the Mahut acts as the hammer of the mortal forces. Excellent at contesting Objective Zones and engaging in prolonged combat, as the archers can fire directly at whoever the Mahut is engaging, further adding to its melee prowess. The Mahut also serves as a favorable method of transportation for none but the most powerful and stylish spellcasters.

Lore:
Much like the God himself, worship of Hazlia did not quite die in the aftermath of the Fall. Small isolated monasteries that worshiped their god and his apocalyptic vision survived by raiding, cannibalism and other methods too foul to describe. Once discovered, the fanatics among their number were selected and inducted into the mysteries of Hazlia’s deathly cult, promised ascension into his deathless ranks should they succeed in killing their target through whatever means they can muster. Today the Cultists and Hashashin operate independently of the undead Legions, sowing chaos and death ahead of their relentless advance. How they play:
Fanatical zealots, the Cultists roam the battlefield permeated by an unholy aura. They excel when supporting Regiments like Bone Golems, Kheres, or any other Regiment with the Aura of Death Special Rule, as their ranged attacks cause enemies to suffer additional damage from these effects.

Lore:
It did not take long for the Avatara Program to catch on with the Sovereign Lineages. While the Centaur Avatara appealed to a portion of their more wealthy patrons, a few debauched souls have come to view the battlefield as the perfect hunting ground. They have commissioned a new form of Avatar body, one that can stalk its prey amongst the clamor of battle and lose itself to the thrill of the hunt. Spire commanders routinely seek them out on the eve of battle, knowing that the damage they will cause to the foe’s plans far outweighs the difficulty of guiding them to the right target. How They Play:
The Leonine Avatara are the Sovereign's premier tool for delivering devastating ranged support over medium ranges. Accurate, Armor Piercing and impervious to all but the most dedicated assailants, the Leonine are invaluable as a mobile ranged firepower platform.
